Answer:

An adult human body contains about 250g of salt and any excess is naturally excreted by the body. Sodium enables the transmission of nerve impulses around the body.

Answer :

Mass of vehicle = 1500kg

Radius of circular oath = 314m

Velocity of vehicle = 20m/s

We have to find magnitude of centripetal need by the vehicle in order to take turn.

\star For a body of mass m moving with velocity v along a horizontal circular path of radius r, centripetal force is

  • F = mv²/r

By substituting the given values,

⭆ F = mv²/r

⭆ F = 1500(20)²/(314)

⭆ F = 600,000/314

⭆ F = 1910.8 N

F = 1.9 kN

\star Additional Information :

  • Centrifugal force is equal to centripetal force in magnitude but acts away from the centre.
  • Centripetal force is the name given to any force that provides radial inward acceleration to a body in circular motion.
