LCM of 6 and 4 = (2 × 2 × 3) = 12

Let the number of bananas bought be 12.

CP of 6 bananas = ₹ 24

CP of 1 banana = ₹ (24/6) = ₹ 4

CP of 12 bananas = ₹ (4 × 12) = 48

SP of 4 bananas = ₹ 20

SP of 1 banana = ₹ (20/4) = ₹ 5

SP of 12 bananas = ₹ (5 × 12) = ₹ 60

Now, CP = ₹ 48 & SP = ₹ 60

Since SP > CP , the vendor gains

Gain = SP - CP

= ₹ (60 - 48)

= ₹ 12

•°• Required gain percent

\sf{ = ( \frac{Gain}{CP} \times 100)\%} \\ \\ = \sf{( \frac{12}{48} \times 100)\%} \\ \\ \sf{= 25\%}
