Cost .price of 1 banana =1/3
in similar way
S.p. of 1 banana=1/4

c.p. - s.p.= 1/3-1/4
l.c.m. of 3 and 4 is 12
=4-3/12=1/12
loss percent =1/2×100 divided by 1/3
=rs.150

Answer: loss% = 25%

Step-by-step explanation:

step 1:

cp of 3 bananas=Rs1
cp of 1 banana=Rs1/3

step 2:
sp of 4 bananas=Rs1
sp of 1 banana=Rs1/4

step 3:

It is a loss so
loss=CP-SP
loss=1/3-1/4
loss=1/12

step 4:

loss%= loss/CP X 100
loss%= \frac{1}{12}x\frac{3}{1}x100
loss%= 25%
