1 lemon price = rupees 0.20

profit 40% means S . P is 140%

140% = 0.142

1 lemon bought = r.s 0.142

for r.s 1, no. of lemons = 7

2nd method :-

100 paisa = 5 lemons

profit = 40%

Then C.P = 100 * 100/140 ( by formula)

= 500/7

C. P of one lemon = 500 / 7*5

= 100/ 7 ( 14.29)
