13 will come in the place of x

Explanation

The ratio between the present age of Manisha and Deepali is 5:x

The question says that, Parineeta's age after 9 years will be 33 years. That means, the present age of Parineeta =(33-9)years = 24 years

Now, Manisha is 9 years younger than Parineeta. So the present age of Manisha will be : (24-9) years =15 years

The difference between Deepali's and Manisha's age is same as the present age of Parineeta, i.e 24 years

If we assume Deepali's present age as y years, so we will get...

 y-15=24\\ \\ y=24+15= 39

Thus, Deepali's present age is 39 years.

Now, as the ratio of Manisha's age and Deepali's age is 5:x , so...

 \frac{Manisha}{Deepali} = \frac{5}{x}\\ \\ \frac{15}{39} =\frac{5}{x}\\ \\ 15x=195\\ \\ x= \frac{195}{15} \\ \\ x= 13

So, the value of x is 13
