Since the verandah is of width ,outer length of room =5.5+2(1.25)=7m
width of the room=4+2(1.25)=4+2.5=6.5
So Area of the verandah= Outer area-Inner area
=7x6.5-5.5x4
=45.5-22=23.5
Cost of cementing at 15 per sq m=23.5X15=Rs 352.50

Area of the verandah with room is =(5.5+1.25+1.25)×(4+1.25+1.25)
8×6.5=52
Area of verandah 52−22
=30m²
Cost of cementing =15rps
Total cost of cementing =30×15
=450rps
Thus,
We get total cost of cementing 450rps.
