here is ur answer...?!

see area of room =l×b
=4*5
=20m².

and area of veranda..as per it width of verandha the length increased by 2m.
it's dimensions are 6 and 7 m..

there fore ,its area is = l×b
=7*6
=42m².

now,
area of verhanda is = area of vehranda including room - area of room
=42-20
=22m².

area of whole is = 42m²..
