Length of shadow of object is directly proportional its height.
l1/h1 = l2/h2
Here, h1 = 40 m, l1 = 20 m & l2 = 50 m
20/40 = 50/h2
h2 = 50 × 40/20
h2 = 100 m
Hence, the height of the tower is 100 m.
