When the vertical wire carries a current upward. The magnetic field at North of wire will be directed in the west.

Using the Fleming's Right-Hand Rule we can obtain the direction of the in the induced current, magnetic field and motion.

Now what Right- Hand Rule states?

It states that :-

Hold the thumb, the forefinger and the centre finger of your righ- hand which will be right angled to one another. Now adjust your hand in such a way that your forefinger points in the direction of the manetic field, and thumb points in the direction of motion of certain conductor and also the direction in which center finger points gives the direction of induced current of that conductor.

Therefore, option c.) Westward is the answer.
