Cleanliness means to keep ourself physically(body) and mentally(brain) clean.It gives a person personality. It is a good habit and everyone should adopt it.Cleanliness is very important for us.By cleanliness we can get rid of diseases.Cleanliness is next to godliness—certainly this is duty, not a sin.A person who is clean and tidy and well dress up gets respects from those around him than those who have a slovenly and unkempt appearance.It is an insult to respectable people to meet them with dirty face and hands, and soiled and evil-smelling clothes. A gentleman would feel ashamed if he could not keep himself clean.Also in Temples or any worship place cleanliness is first done than worship.Hence cleanliness is a next step to godliness.
