Centripetal force can be defined as the a force which makes things move towards the centre of something when they are moving around it. In the other hand , Centrifugal force is a fictitious force that can be thought of as acting outwards on any body that rotates or moves along a curved path!!!!

Centripetal force(inward force)                  Centrifugal force(outward force)

It is a force that drives the rotating body   It is a force that makes the rotating
to follow a curved path and it moves         to move away from the center.
the body towards the center.

The force acts from the object towards     The force acts from the center towards                                          object.
the center.

It is a real force.                                       It is not a real force.

Eg: Hammer throw.                                   Eg: water staying in a swinging bucket.
