a very smooth distemper wall reflects the light falling on a person standing in front of it does not see his image.why

the wall observes the light and only reflects white or the colour of what it is

ShivanshuBisht: the man cannot see is image because the wall is not a polished surface ie. not a reflective surface therefore his image is formed but is seen in the form in the form of shadow
