a vessel contains mixture of milk and water in ratio 3:1 if 20 litres of mixture is taken out and 15 litre of milk is added then ratio of milk and water becomes 4:1 then find the initial quantity of mixture?

intial quantity of water be x
acc. to que
(3x+15)/(x-20) = 4
3x+15=4x-80
3x-4x=-80-15
-x=-95
x=95
answer is 380 litres
