Solution -

Volume of vessel = 4.5 litres

= (4.5/1000) m³

= 0.0045 m³

= (0.0045 × 100 × 100 × 100) cm³

= 4,500 cm³

____________

Length of Vessel = 30 cm

Breadth of Vessel = 25 cm   ____________

Let's assume the height as x cm

According to Question,

Volume of Cuboidic Vessel = 4500 cm³

30 × 25 × x = 4,500

⇒ 750 × x = 4,500

⇒ x = 4,500/750

⇒ x = 6

∴The height of cuboidic Vessel = x cm = 6 cm

given the Length of the vessel is 30cm and breadth is 25cm.

volume of water in the vessel = 4.5 litres

we know that 1 litre is 1000cm³, therefore 4.5 litres = 4.5×1000

= 4500cm³

therefore l×b×h = 4500cm³

=> 30×25×h = 4500cm³

=> 750×h = 4500cm³

=> h = 4500/750

=> h = 6cm

verification:-

volume = l×b×h

= 30×25×6

= 750×6

= 4500cm³

hence verified

thus the the height of the vessel is 6cm
