Body falls according to 1:3:5:7:9....

Hence if first second is taken as x, then next would be 3x and next would be 5x so on and so fourth.

Now first three seconds so

X+3x+5x =9x

Which would be 5th second because

1 st second - x mts

2 nd second - 3x mts

.

.

5 th second - 9x mts

So total time taken by the body to hit the ground is 5 sec.

Total distance traveled by the body is x+3x+5x+7x+9x = 25 x

We can calculate x using kinematics talking value of 'g' ( acceleration due to gravity).
