water required by one person in one day is 60 litres
water required by whole village in one day is 60x4000=240000litres
now
total water in the tank is 48x27x5 = 6480m^3 = 6480000litres
therefore the days for which the water of tanker is sufficient is 6480000/240000=27
therefore the water of the tank is sufficient for 27 days...

hope this helps:p

Water required for 1 person = 60 litres

Water required for 4000 persons
= 4000×60
=240000 litres

Length = 48 metres

Breadth = b = 27 metres

Height = h = 5 metres

Volume of tank = lbh
= 48 × 27 × 5
=6480m³

1m³= 1000litres

6480 m³=6480000 litres

No: of days water will last = Volume of tank ÷ Volume of water required by 4000 people
= 6480000 ÷ 240000
= 27 days
So, tank will last for 27 days.
