A village, having a population of 4000, requires 150 litres of water per head per
day. It has a tank measuring 20m x 15 mx 6 m. For how many days will the
water of this tank last?

Population of village = 4000 and quantity of water required per day = 150 litres. Quantity of water required by the village per day = ( 4000 × 150) litres = 4000×150 ÷ 1000 m³ = 600 m³. The no. of days for which the water will last = 1800÷600 = 3 days.
