A Violin is always stored with its strings loosened to present them from snapping. when it is being tuned the strings are tightened gradually. what effect does this have on the note produced?​

Tightening of strings leads to resonance effect as a result the pitch becomes higher and lower depending upon the tightening of the string.If it is tightened more then more waves superimpose and thus more pitch but less wavelength
