"A virtual image cannot be focused on a screen". This statement appears to be contradictory as we focus a virtual image on to a screen, i.e., retina. Explain it.

because retina hasve optic nerves which will help us to see the image straight and if we trynna see virtual image with a artificial lens we cant see without a white screen but on retina image can be focusd due to variations in the lens structure controlled by the ciliary muscles
