Why does a child have 300 bones where as an adult who has grown up higher in size has only 206 bones

new born baby has 300+ bones because when it will grow up their bones starting adding in one another and join in one another then an adult person have totally 206 bones

A child have 300 bones where as an adult who has grown up higher in size has only 206 bones because when we grow up our bones get fused that is they get blend together. Thus, the number of bones gradually decreases.
