The magnitude of potential difference of zero error will be 0.5 volts

Explanation :

Least count is defined as the minimum voltage it can measure in one division, whereas zero error is the error in division shown when the pointer should be at zero position.

Given the least count = 0.1 V per division,

Number of division for positive zero error = 5

Hence

potential difference of zero error = least count x Number of division

=> V = 0.1 x 5 = 0.5 volts

Hence the magnitude of potential difference of zero error will be 0.5 volts
