A wall of length 10m was to be built across an open ground. The height of the wall is 4m and thickness of the wall is 24m. If this wall is to be built up with bricks whose dimensions are 24cm X 10cm X 8cm, how many bricks would be required?

volume of the wall = lbh = 10 * 4 * 24 = 96 * 10
= 960 m^3
volume if each brick = 24 * 10 * 8 = 1920 cm^3
therefore = 960 * 100 * 100 * 100 = 960000000 cm^3
therefore no of bricks = 960000000 / 1920
= 5,00,000 bricks
= 960 m^3
volume if each brick = 24 * 10 * 8 = 1920 cm^3
therefore = 960 * 100 * 100 * 100 = 960000000 cm^3
therefore no of bricks = 960000000 / 1920
= 5,00,000 bricks
