\bf{{\underline{\boxed{\sf\orange{Answer:\:6000\:bricks}}}}}

Given :

Cuboidal wall of length = 13.5 m, breadth = 60 m and height = 1.6 m is to be constructed.

Cuboidal brick of length = 22.5 cm, breadth = 12 cm and height = 8 cm is to be used.

To Find :

Number of bricks required to construct the wall.

Formula used :

Volume of cuboid = length × breadth × height

\huge\underline\green{\tt Solution:}

→ Volume of wall = length × breadth × height

= 13.5 × 60 × 1.6

= 12.96 m³

Now,

In the brick,

→ Length = 22.5 cm = 0.225 m

→ Breadth = 12 cm = 0.12 m

→ Height = 8 cm = 0.08 m

So,

→ Volume of each brick

= 0.225 × 0.12 × 0.08

= 0.00216 m³

→ Number of bricks =

 \dfrac{volume\:of\:wall}{volume\:of\:each\:brick}

= \dfrac{12.96}{0.0216}

= 6000

Hence, 6000 bricks are required.
