let the c.p be x rupees.
s.p=x+5○/○of x
=x+1/20× x
=21x/20
now,
21x/20-1650=x-5○/○ of x
→21x/20-1650=19x/20
→21x/20 -19x/20 = 1650
→2x/20=1650
→x=1650×20/2
→x=16500
Hence, the c.p is 16500 rupees.
Hope it will help you :-)
