Hey,

Let the cost price of watch be x

When it is sold at a profit of 6%,
Profit=6/100*C.P.=0.06x (C.P.=x)
Selling price=Cost price +profit = x+0.06x = 1.06x

When it is sold at a loss of 6%,
loss=6/100*x=0.06x
Selling price=Cost price- loss=x-0.06x=0.94x

1.06x-0.94x=₹870
0.12x=870
x=₹7250

#hope it helps....
