One should decrease it’s consumption by switching off the taps when not in use.
Reusing the water would go a long way in conserving the life saving liquid in an impeccable manner.

(b) Rain water harvesting: It is one of the most efficient method for recharging the underwater table. It is a process by which rain water is collected and stored to ensure recharging of aquifers. It can further be used for agriculture and irrigation. By this, we can reduce our dependence on storage dams.
There are generally two ways of rainwater harvesting: Surface run off harvesting and rooftop rain water harvesting.
(ii) Following are the advantages of water harvesting at the community level:
(a) Water stored during rainy season can be used as and when required by the community.
(b) Ground water level increases due to recharging.
