\[\begin{array}{l} = \frac{1}{2} \times \frac{{11}}{4}\\ = \frac{{11}}{8}\\ = 1\frac{3}{8}litre\end{array}\]

Hence water purify in \[\frac{{11}}{4}\] hour is \[1\frac{3}{8}litre\].
