Let: the edge of wet grass as circumference of a circle and 7m as radius of circle.

Now: Find the circumference of circle by:-

Given: radius = 7m

Method: 2πR

2×22/7×7. (multiply 2 by 22)

44/7x7 (divide 7 by 7 using cross multiplication)

Answer: 44m

Hence, edge of wet grass is 44m

Answer:

It is based on the Newton's third law of motion. As soon as the water comes out from the nozzle of the sprinkler, an equal and opposite reaction force acts on the nozzle. Due to this reaction force, the sprinkler starts rotating.
