An inlet pipe allows 5 kilo litres and 25 litres in an hour. an outlet pipe will empty the tank at the rate of 2.5 litres in an hour if the tank is empty and accidentally both the pipes are simultaneously opened will the tank be filled? if it fills how much of water will be filled in 1 hour how long will it take to fill the tank completely

vol = (rate of water inlet - the rate of water outlet )*time taken
v=r*t
v= (5022.5)*1                                                 (volumes are converted in liters and                                                                            rates in litre per hour)
v= 5022.5 litres

time = v/r
=  25250/5022.5
= 5.027 hour
