given :-

length of the tank = 5m

breadth of the tank = 4m

height of the tank = 3m

volume of the tank = l × b × h

= 5 × 4 × 3

= 60m³

we know that 1m³ = 1000 litres

therefore 60m³ = 60 × 1000 = 60000 litres

height of water filled in the tank = 2.5m

therefore volume of water filled in the tank = 5 × 4 × 2.5

= 50m³

in litres = 50000 litres

hence, water required to fill the tank completely = 60000 - 50000

= 10 litres
