Explanation:

Given :-

wavelength=4cm =4/100m= 0.04m

distance travelled= 60cm= 60/100m =0.6m

time taken= 3 seconds.

To Find :-

frequency of wave

Solution :-

speed= distance ÷ time

:- speed = 0.6m ÷ 3 sec

:- speed = 0.2 m/s

Now, we know that,

speed of sound= frequency × wavelength

OR v = f× wavelength

Therefore, 0.2m/s = f × 0.04m

:- f = 0.2m/s ÷ 0.04m

:- f = 5 Hz Answer.
