28 steps
After every 5 steps he is going one down(3-2)
When he reaches 6step he will have done 30 jumps
He will only go 3 more steps so total 33

Answer:

13 jumps

Step-by-step explanation:

∵ The frog jumps 3 steps down and then jumps 2 steps up.

So, in two jumps the total steps it goes down = 3 - 2 = 1,

Also, the water level is At 9th step,

Since, at the last 3 step down it will not come up,

So, the steps it will cover with the speed of 1 step per two jump = 9 - 3 = 6,

1 step = 2 jump

6 steps = 12 jump

Hence, the total jumps will reach it to the water level = 12 jump + Last jump of 3 step

= 12 + 1

= 13
