A well with 14m inside diameter is dug 10m deep. Earth taken out of it has been evenly spread all around it to a width of 21m to form an embankment, then the height of the embankments is?

= (227×7×7×10 ) m3

= 1540 m3  

Area of embankment  

= 227 [(28)2−(7)2 ] m2

= 227 × (28 + 7) (28 - 7) m2

= 227 × 35 × 21 m2 = 2310 m2

Height of embankment = VolumeArea = 15402310 m = 23 m
