(a) Cathode rays are a beam of electrons which are emitted from the cathode of a high-vacuum tube. Cathode rays consist of electrons which are negatively charged particles. So, the nature of the charge on cathode rays is negative.

(b) Cathode rays are formed when very high voltage electricity is passed through a gas at lower pressure in a discharge tube. Due to this, we observe the stream of particles coming out by cathode. The steam is cathode rays.

(c) The conclusion we obtained from the fact that all the gases from cathode rays are there is negatively charged particles called electrons are present in the atom.
