(A) What is activity series of metal ? Arrange the metal Zn, Al, mg, Fe and Cu in
decreasing order.
(B) What would you observe when you put
(i) Some zinc pieces into blue copper sulphate solution ?

Answer:

(A) The activity or reactivity series is a series of metals that is arranged according to their reactivity. A reactivity series is typically a vertically presented model with the most-reactive element placed at the top of the series and the least-reactive element placed at the bottom.

Decreasing order of given metals in reactivity:-

Mg>Al>Zn>Fe>Cu

(B)

(i)The blue coloured solution of copper sulphate becomes colourless when we put zinc pieces into it because zinc is more reactive than copper and displaces copper from its copper solution.

(ii) no reaction will happen when we will copper pieces into green coloured ferrous sulphate solution because copper is less reactive than ferrous and is not able to displace ferrous from its aqueous solution.

Hope this will help you.

If so mark it as brainliest.
