• Speciation due to geographical barrier leading to formation of new species

• This is mainly attributed to the fact that,the gene pool is stagnant,new genes aren't formed

• Mule,is a cross breed which has of a male horse and a female donkey.

• It has 63 chromosomes in contrast to 64 in horses and 62 in donkeys

• Most mules are rendered infertile given the fact that they are a cross breed
