anything that has mass and occupies space is called a matter.
properties of solid:
1) they have distinct boundries and definite shape.
2)they donot flow.
properties of liquid:
1) they take the shape of container.
2) they flow.

Raman will observe that in beaker A the rate of diffusion of copper sulphate crystal is maximun than in beaker B containing cold water because in beaker A temprature of liquid is high so when temprature increases , the rate of diffusion increases.

anything that occupies space and have some mass and volume is known as matter.

two properties of solid are,
it has definite shape and distinct boundaries they have a tendency to maintain their shape
two properties of liquid are,
have no definite shape and not disturb boundaries if I fill it in a container it will take shape of the container.
