(a) What is meant by the resistance of a conductor" ? Write the relation between resistance, potential difference and current.

Resistance of a conductor is defined as its property to oppose the flow of electric current through it. It is the ratio of potential difference to the electric current passing.

R = V/I where R is resistance, V is potential difference and I is the current.
