(a) an alternating current is one which continuously change its magnitude and periodically reverse its direction several time in a second

a DC current generator is an electrical machine that convert mechanical energy into electrical energy producing direct current

(C), frequency of AC
the number of cycle of alternating current completed in one second is called frequency of AC in India electricity from domestic use consists of a frequency of 50 cycle per second this means that alternating current change its polarity after 1/100 second

(d) direct grant always flow in same direction and does not change its polarity

direct current can be received from either cell or from batteries
