Speed = (Distance covered) / Time Taken

Revolutions per minute = 3000 / 60 = 50 revolutions per second

Distance covered in one revolution = Circumference of wheel

= 2r

= (2 * 22 * 7)/7

= 44 cm = 44/100 = 0.44m

Total distance covered in a second = 0.44 * 50 = 22 meter in a second

so the speed is 22 m/sec

Answer:

4.4m/s

Step-by-step explanation:

First find the circumference by 2πr

2.22/7.14 = 4.22=88cm

There are 3000 such revolutions per minute so 88x3000=264000cm per minute

=264 metres per minute

=264/60 metres per second

=4.4m/s

vatsal82: * is this decimal point???
gforgenius: No it’s multiplication
