Total distance to be travelled = 792 m

Diameter of wheel = 84 cm

Radius = 42 cm

Circumference = 2 × 22 × 42 / 7

= 44 × 6

= 264 cm

= 2.64 m

Now,

Number of revolution = Total distance travelled / Circumference of wheel

= 792 / 2.64

= 300

Let us assume that r be the radius of the wheel.

Then after it :-

Diameter Given = 84cm

2r = 84

r = 42cm

Therefore,

Circumference of the wheel = 2πrcm

⇒ 2 × 22/7 × 42cm = 264 cm

⇒ 2.64 meter.

Hence, the wheel covers 2.64 meter in one complete revolution.

Therefore,

Total no. of revolutions in covering 792 meters = 792/2.64

⇒ 300.

Therefore, the wheel takes 300 revolutions in converting 792 meters.
