Copper T is placed inside vagina and uterus. If the basement deferens in the male is blocked then the male will not be able to inject sperm into the vagina.

In Uterus copper-T is placed.

Vas deferens carries sperms to the urethra. Hence, if it ligated, sperms will not be ejected in the semen.
