a white coloured substance which is used for manufacturing of cement and for white washing is dissolved in water forms solution A and if we pass CO2 through A then white coloured precipitate B is formed. pass more carbon dioxide through it, a white coloured solution C is obtained . identify A,B and C. write equation and and explain also.

B→CaCO3

C→CaHCO3

khushi121003: Substance used for white washing is CaO .......so CaO + H2O→Ca(OH)2.....so here you get A
khushi121003: Now ....Ca(OH)2 + CO2→CaCO3 + H2O......so you get B
khushi121003: CaCO3 +CO2(in excess) →CaHCO3......this is C
