b) When he saw the vast expanse of sea beneath him he thought his wings would not support his weight and that would be dangerouse.
c) Seeing the expanse of the sea beneath him he got scared and not having the courage to fly, ran back to his little hole where he slept.
d) He watched his parents and siblings flying. The parents were perfecting the art of flying. His brother had also caught his first herring.
