because nearly 80% of food that we eat get digest in our intestine. Thus villi is present in stomach as it provides large space to the food to be properly digested.

villi are present in intestine to increase the area for absorption of food ... as absorption does not occur in stomach so they are absent in stomach but instead special foldings are present in stomach to maintain the peristalsis movement and churning movement in stomach.
