A wire bent in the shape of a rectangle of side 13.5 CM by 6.5 CM was straightened and rebent into a square. Find the length of the side of the square.

The area of rectangle is length x breadth
Thus, area = 13.5x6.5 = 87.75 cm^2
Since its the same wire, the area would remain the same
Area of a square = side^2
87.75 = side^2
 \sqrt{87.75} = 9.37 (approx)
