Let r be the radius of the circle and l and b be the dimensions of the rectangle ,

we know that , How much perimeter will rectangle have equal perimeter circle will have
so ,

2πr = 2 ( l + b )

$\frac{22}{7} \times r \: = 11 + 8 \\ \\ = > \: r \: = \frac{11 +. 8 \times 7}{22} \\ \\ = > r \: =$
Thus we got r = 6.04 cm
we know ,

Area of circle = 22/7 × 6.04×6.04

= 114.65 cm ^2
