The pressure of water on the ground floor is 40,000 Pa and on the first floor is 10,000 Pa. Find the height of the first floor.(take:density of water=1000 kg mm3,g=10 m s^-2)

we know a formula P = r*g*h
r is the water density.
now calculate the difference in pressure
P= P2-P1
P= 40000-10000
P= 30000
30000 = 1000*10*h
h = 30000 / 1000*10
h = 3 m.
Hence the floor height is 3 m.
