Area of the shape ;
11×11=121cm^2
The breadth will be
Area/length
121/14= 8.642857
Area of the rectangle will be
Length ×breadth
14×8.6
120.4cm^2
Hence sgare encloses more area

side of the square = 11cm
perimeter = 4 x side
= 4 x 11
44cm
lenth of the rectangle = 14cm
perimeter = 2x(l+b)
= 2x (14 + a ) = 44cm
14 + a = 44/2 = 22
a = 22- 14
= 8
breadth = 8
area of the square = side x side
= 11 x 11
=121 square cm
area of the rectangle = l x b
=14 x 8
=112 square cm
hence the square encloses more area
