lenght of wire to be cut =3x+5
lenght of wire left=10x-3-(3x+5)
=10x-3-3x-5
=7x-8

(10x-3)-(3x+5) =10x-3x-3+5
=7x-8
7x=8
x=8/7
(10×8/7-3)-(3×8/7+5)
8.42 - 8.42
hence, =0
No wire is left out
=7x-8
